Big Cedar Moving to Cashless Payments

Effective May 1, 2026

Big Cedar will be transitioning to a cashless payment environment beginning May 1, 2026. After this date, cash will no longer be accepted at on‑site locations.

Guests will be able to use credit cards, debit cards, and approved digital payment methods for purchases across the property. This change aligns with modern hospitality practices and supports a faster, safer, and more convenient experience for everyone.

Updates to Our Tab Policy

Members may continue to run a tab while golfing by enrolling in our On-Account service.

When you enroll, you’ll provide a payment method so Big Cedar can bill you directly (monthly, if you choose). You may also pay your tab at the end of your round by visiting the bar or pro shop before you leave. If a tab is not settled on a given day, the balance will be charged to your On-Account profile, plus a standard 15% gratuity on food and beverage only. You will receive an email that evening confirming the amount billed, and a detailed monthly statement will be sent to you prior to billing. Personal information is stored securely with our certified payment provider.

BOOKING POLICY

  • Please arrive 15 - 20 minutes prior to your scheduled tee-time  to allow enough time to get checked in and on the tee-blocks on time. Being late, may result in forfeiting your tee time.

  • Non-members must provide a credit card number to book by phone, in person or over Tee-on.  No shows will have the full charge applied to their credit card. If a booking is made for more people than actually show up, these charges will apply to the excess number.

  • Members will be required to provide their credit card information when booking non-member guest.

CANCELLATION POLICY

FOR MEMBERS:

  • Members may also cancel bookings at least 24 hours in advance without any consequences. Staff will however document bookings that are cancelled within the 24-hour window or that are no-shows. If the member has a second occurrence during the season, their sign-up window will be reduced to 7 days. A third occurrence will result in a green-fee charge at the posted rates.

  • Members are required to email all cancellations to proshop@bigcedargolf.com.

NON-MEMBERS

  • Non-members must cancel prior to 24 hours of tee-time.  Failure to cancel prior to 24 hours will result in charge to credit card. Cancellation requests must be emailed to proshop@bigcedargolf.com.

  • For unplayable weather, non-members will receive a rain check.

These procedures are not intended to be punitive. The objective is  to ensure that members do not needlessly miss opportunities to play.

We understand, of course, that unplayable weather and unforeseen events do happen. The Clubhouse Manager will have full discretion to waive any penalties in such cases.
